The maturity of an "almost" 10 year old
Hannah came home from school today so excited! I put the tree up while everyone returned to school so it was a big thrill to see the tree all a glow through the window. We are decorating it tomorrow, however, too much homework tonight. Hannah said, " Mom, how did you do it?" "Do what?", I said, " How did you get ALL the decorations out, make turkey soup, clean the house, and SHOWER? and do it before we get home???? I love how appreciative she was and how she came to this realization of hard work. The shower part cracked me up. She's GREAT!

We moms do somehow find time to "do it" We sure never stop.
It is a good question coming from a girl because one day she will develop the "magic" and needs to know the secrets now. You know, above all else, I am glad you got that shower in!!
